Cassandra Robinson Wint Executive Director
Cassandra Robinson Wint, native of Seattle, Washington, is a dedicated parent who strives for better parental involvement in the schools. She has always been a member of organizations whose goals have been to strengthen family and community ties. Her volunteer foundation comes from her family, all of whom believe you should always participate and give back. Ms. Robinson Wint grew up in girl scouts, church, and neighborhood youth groups, which helped her to learn more about her community. Volunteering has provided her with knowledge, confidence and leadership. As a mother she understands the importance of connecting and communicating with children, parents, and the community in which you live.
Ms. Robinson Wint is a former employee of the National Council of Negro Women, Inc. That is where she enhanced her knowledge to become a humanitarian leader. The fundamentals of humanitarian leadership was instilled through Dr. Dorothy I. Height who believed, ”Without community service, we would not have a strong quality of life”.
Ms. Robinson Wint is a life member of the National Council of Negro Women, Inc. and the National Organization of African American Women. She has been an avid volunteer for organizations such as the Central Area Chamber of Commerce, the National Blue Print for Educating the Black Child, Community Academy Public Chartered School PTA, Notre Dame Academy HAS, Washington Teachers’ Union Local 6 AFL-CIO, NCNW HIV-AIDS Awareness Program, Savannah State University Foundation, and the Grady Young Foundation. She provided leadership in other community involved actives such as the prison task force G.E.D. program where she served as president and Home and School Association where she served as treasurer. She received the Georgia Department of Education Parent Leadership Award 2016.
Ms. Robinson Wint’s most important mission is being a mother and teaching her daughter the value of her role in community service involvement and volunteerism.
